After graduation I joined the Navy with several of my classmates where I became a Deep Sea Salvage Diver. After serving, I worked for Minnesota Power and Light as a lineman. Moved to Colorado and worked as a lineman there also. Moved to Arizona for several years also as a lineman. Finally settled in the Olympic Peninsula and retired from the City of Port Angeles Power and Light as a line foreman in 2007.
Since retiring I finished restoring my 1950 Cessna 170A airplane, which took over 10 years to do. My passion is in flying and has been in flying since getting my license in 1978. I presently own 2 airplanes.
My wife and I also enjoy boating in the Northwest waters in our 26 foot Tollycraft Cabin Cruiser. We also enjoy going to Classic car shows in our 1964 Chevelle Malibu Convertible. We also enjoy ballroom dancing. Most of all we enjoy taking our travel trailer and seeing the country. Last year we went to Maine and back and this winter plan to go to the southern states, visiting family and friends.
