Following graduation from Central I attended the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. I roomed with fellow classmate Tom Andrew in my freshman year. I played basketball and baseball at the "U". While in college I married the former Diane Doyle (class of 1963) in June 1964. Following college I worked for a large insurance company as an insurance adjuster from 1965 to 1997. We moved from Minneapolis to Dallas in 1979 due to a job promotion. In 1997 I retired from the insurance company and became the risk / insurance manager for a large construction company in Dallas. I retired from that company in 2009. Diane and I have 2 children, one who lives in Austin, Tx with her 2 sons and the other lives in Charlotte, NC with his 2 sons. We enjoy seeing our grandchildren grow up and visit them frequently.
