Diane R. Rybak, 67 of Duluth passed away at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born in Duluth to Russell and Adeline LaPlante. Diane was a teaching assistant for Duluth Public Schools.

She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Al Lidmark; brother, Robert; sisters, Violet and Joan and grandson, Kristopher. Diane is survived by her husband, William; sons, Donald and Robert; daughters, Susan (Jon) Downing and Debra (Randy) Parker; grandchildren, Nicole, Brian, Mike, Josh and Erik; as well as many friends both locally and in Barnes, Wis. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Lloyd Ketchum, Sally Timpelis and SMDC Cancer Center Staff.
