Information update: 5/10/11

I married my husband on the 21st of March 1964. We move to Norfolk VA, where my son was born that same year. My husband was in the navy. In 1966, I moved back to Duluth to have my daughter. My husband went to war and after 2 years we spent 4 and half years in Hawaii. After that, we moved to Alameda, CA and finally in 1978, we moved to Washington State with the ship USS Coral Sea. My husband retired from the service in 1979.

I have always worked with children in our kid's school. The last years were at Bangor Child Development Center in Silverdale WA. At age 65, after a career spanning 28 years, I retired. That was my mistake, because 8 month later I had a stroke. It's been 15 month and I can walk with my cane. My left arm is about 60% back to normal.

My husband and I love to camp out, so we bought a 36-foot camper and a Jeep to pull it. Then my doctor took my license away. I am sad about that, because my husband doesn't drive. My family all live back in Duluth and Superior, so we get back there every couple of years. My brother just passed away last year. I got to spend some time with him before he died. That was the best thing.

I am coming to the reunion. My daughter and her family will be driving my camper and jeep back. Looking forward to this seeing you in July.
