Fifty Years - It's Gone!!
From 1961 to 1965 I was in Minneapolis going to Nursing School. I graduated from Northwest Abbott with the great help from my wife Toni. I then went to the American Rehabilitation Institute. We came back to Duluth in 1968 as a personal valet to an executive whose son was paralyzed from the neck down. I found I wasn't any Florence Nightingale and took a job at UMD where I worked for 32 years before retiring.

I took great pleasure in raising my children. I am pictured here with my Granddaughter, the third generation of State Basketball Champions. My son Paul Nordvall won the State Tournament with our coach, Jim Hastings. My wife passed on two years ago. She was a major factor in our family. I know we made a difference in this life. It's a new life without my wife. I hope to make the most of it.
