The story so far.....
So many of you from school have had a very positive influence on my life. Some still loom very large and others just bring a smile. Without the friendships, acquaintances and background players of our high school years I would not be who I am. And no matter how important we think we are, in someone else life we are only background players. So I want you to tell that influential person in your life, even if it's only to tell the bully that they were such a shit.

After graduation I went to UMD until I realized there were other places where there were jobs and warmth. In January 1963, after being cold most of my life, I went to Miami Florida warmed up and saw what it was like to live somewhere else. I foolishly returned in March and went back to school. During that time I worked on a production of Flower Drum Song being put on by the Seaway Players. I met my first and third (she says last) wife Sharon on the set, she played a stripper and I was in the chorus. Those who know me understand that I danced and didn't sing. I talked her into moving to Miami, where the living was not only warm but easy. We were married on 7 Dec 1963.

After the November 1964 elections I once again asked her to move, this time to Arizona. In Dec of 1965 I received a notice to report for my physical for induction into the armed forces. I Surprisingly passed. After calling my Duluth Draft board I was told that I would be drafted no later than the end of Feb. 1966. I delayed and enlisted into the Air Force on 13 May 1966. Boy, what a change! My first wife divorced me in November of 1967. She stayed in Phoenix and I saw the world. I married my second wife, a CIA employee, in Tokyo, Japan in June of 1971. While in the Air Force I lived in 5 foreign countries for a total of 16 years. I appreciate you taxpayers for allowing me to have so much fun on your dime, except, of course, for the time in Viet Nam. I retired 1 June 1991 after more than 25 years of adventure and travel.

After retiring in I went to work for Capital Cycle of Sterling, VA, quit in 1996 to start my own company, Adventure Motorcycle Gear. www.adventuremotorcyclegear.com I import only high-end European Motorcycle Clothing and Accessories. And I am the Exclusive US Distributor for Rukka. After reconnecting with my first wife Sharon I moved back to Arizona and we were married on the 7th December 2008 (She has a difficult time remembering dates). We live happily in Gilbert, AZ. When asked, "What was the most valuable course you took in High School? " I always answer "Typing". It has kept me out of more dirty jobs than you can imagine. I still use it on a daily basis.
Three of the most non-relationship memorable moments: My first night at Bondi Beach in Sidney Australia seeing the southern cross and watching the sink drain the opposite way, the two week motorcycle trip thru Europe with 5 friends, and seeing the color of the water change as we went into the Gulf Stream from Miami to the Bahamas.

I have had the privilege of living or visiting 48 of the 50 states (sorry Maine and Vermont), three Canadian Provinces, and 28 foreign countries or territories. It was hard to imagine while I was crouched under a cargo pallet in Doc To Viet Nam during a rocket attack, that some day I would be lounging in a swimming pool every morning with Sharon looking up at the beautiful blue sky and thanking God for such an interesting life. At this time I should explain why I am not retired. I am having too much fun doing the work I love and living where I never get cold.
