After high school I joined the army reserves and attended college for two years. In 1972 I met Mary who was living with my aunt at the time while she was attending college. We married in 1973 and are child free by choice.

I enjoy hunting and fishing and so we spent a lot of time together at the family cabin at Whiteface. We decided that we wanted our own space in the woods and so we purchased a cabin at Twin Lakes and have spent many fun times there.

Our most treasured adventures though have been visiting our beloved friends in Ten Sleep Wyoming. We have fished most of the streams and have hunted the remote areas surrounding Ten Sleep. We volunteered as ranch hands for multiple spring lambing seasons. It was hard work but so much fun. We fell in love with the west and visit multiple times a year.

I retired in 1999 after working for 30 years at Duluth Plumbing Supplies. I am enjoying my retirement, spending time at the cabin, making birdhouses, doing leather working and even a bit of painting.
