I got my Droid (computer) and went thru the E-mails. I won't go into the new meds I've gotten for my Epilepsy, but I became allergic to the two that I had for 25 years! Let's say it or (they) just got old!

In the past fifty years, I've had a quite a few jobs. I joined the Army after graduation, became a Med. Tech., took my Pathology in Virginia and worked in the lab and morgue doing autopsies. While there, I made many trips to Washington DC. After a few stays in the states, I was shipped to the Far East and specifically to Okinawa. It had a big hospital and this was just as President Kennedy sent troops to Laos, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam. Injured troops would be sent to Japan, Okinawa and then to the states.

After those years, I came home and did the college routine and then worked in various medical fields. There, I had many interest such as the Opera Club, history and volunteering in many institutions. I traveled quite a bit around the world, didn't go for the castle and fountain scene, I preferred the Middle East, Greece and Turkey. Egypt is one of my favorite places, plus the food was great! Some of my favorite hobbies are cooking and of course politics!

I now have three grand boys two in their teens and one twenty. My daughter has a good time with them. Her, her hubby the boys plus the pets have a good life, and what more can one ask for?

Now, I live at St. Ann's Assisted Living and love my apartment. I have a screened in porch that faces the lake, Canal Park and the bay, so I have quite a home. I believe I'm one of the youngest people here; some of our teachers are even living here. As usual, I am doing more things now than when I was working. I'm close to transportation, hospitals, clinics and church, plus not far from downtown and the Center for Fitness that is 1/2 block away. I like this because I go to the gym and swim laps. (A wee bit of advertising).

I've had a great life for what has happened, like all of us. A lot of fond memories and that's what we want in life. Thank you for asking about my story and making it short and sweet is fun. Take care.
