In June of 1958, my family moved from 2nd Ave. West and 7th Street, to Lakeside. At the time, you had to go to the school in your district, which was Duluth East. I finished my education there, and continued many relationships with classmates and friends from Nettleton and Washington Jr. High School.

After working at First American National Bank, I got married in 1964 to Dan McGlocklin. We had 4 children together. Randy, (1964), Lisa, (1965), and twins James and John, (1971). Dan and I spent one year in Hawaii, where he was working and then moved back to Duluth, as our son spent a great deal of time at Shriner's Hospital for Crippled children. We traveled some to the southeast, as Dan was from South Carolina.

I enjoyed many years of bowling, and was treasurer of Duluth Women's Bowling Association. In 1971, I also started the Mother of Twins Club, along with Virginia (Thurston) Church, and Pam Locken.

In 1994, after 28 years of marriage, Dan and I divorced. I met Ron Ferraro that year we dated for 14 years, and finally after 3 tries of him asking, I married him 5 years ago. I gained 2 step-sons, John Ferraro, and Daniel Ferraro. We have 3 grandchildren, Jake McGlocklin, Giada Ferraro, and Isabella Ferraro.

I enjoy country dancing, country music, shopping like all women, and have since taken up golf in my part-time retirement. I've taken the beginner's class 4 x's now, so I can refresh my aging memory, and I someday can beat Ron, who is a great golfer. Who knows how long that will take, but I'm working on it.

I do work part-time now, having retired once from the Duluth Clinic. My career has also included other banking and credit union experience.

I'm excited to see old Nettleton and Washington classmates at our 50th class reunion.
