Imagine twirling a kaleidoscope to see various patterns of colored glass with each turn. Now think about your life through that lens. How do you describe it in a few paragraphs? Here are some highlights of mine with statistics first. College: BA in English and Education, Principia College, Elsah, Illinois; Master of Liberal Arts, Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. Family: I was married in Berkeley in the swirl of Vietnam protests, across the bay from the flower children in the Haight-Ashbury District of San Francisco. Two children and now two little grandsons bless my family. I was divorced after nearly twenty years of marriage, and have remained single but hopeful.

Career: teacher, editor of publications for a college, public speaking coach, writer, development work for a small museum in Boston. I am currently doing some online teaching. Volunteer work: Junior League, peer editing for English Journal, various positions in church. Professional affiliations: Toastmasters International, National League of American Pen Women, National Council of Teachers of English. Interests: travel, photography, poetry, reading, writing, theater, symphony, visiting museums and art galleries, and spending time with my family.

Miscellaneous and random facts: My favorite music is Amazing Grace in any rendition; favorite movie: The Way We Were; memorable book: Anna Karenina; favorite retreat: a fishing camp in a remote corner of Ontario; happy vacation destinations: Tampa Bay Florida and Carmel California. Home: After living on both coasts and in the Midwest, always with a bit of a restless heart and gypsy wanderlust, I am happily rediscovering my roots in this fabulous North Country by Lake Superior. See you at reunion!
