James H. Fleischmann, 55, of Tri-Towers apartments in Duluth, died Wednesday, March 3, 1999, in his home. He was born Sept. 6, 1943, in Glendive, Mont., and had been a Duluth resident since 1954. He was a 1961 graduate of Central High School and had served in the U.S. Air Force during peace-time. James had been a self-employed maintenance worker.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Vera Armstrong; and his father, Frank Fleischmann Sr. Survivors include a sister Claudine (Larry) Hansen of Duluth; a brother, Frank (Carmen) Jr. of Massapequa Park, N.Y.; sons Michael and Jeffrey (Jenny), both of Lakeside, Calif.; grandchildren April, Sarah and Forrest Fleischmann; nieces Suzanne Vento, Pamela Danaher and Marianna Fleischmann, all of Massapequa Park and Dawn Guiliani and Karen Anderson, both of Duluth; nephews Mark Hansen of Eden Prairie, Minn., and Paul Hansen of Denver; special friends Laura and Bob Bennett of Virginia; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
