CarolJean Anderson, 67, of Black River Falls, Wis., died Monday, July 12, 2010, in Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center, La Crosse. CarolJean Anderson was born Jan. 6, 1943, in Duluth to Harry and Ellen (Linnell) Anderson. She was raised in Duluth and graduated from Duluth Central High School. She later attended Duluth Technical School for two years where she studied to become a laboratory technician. CarolJean had been employed in hospital laboratories since the age of 16. She had been employed as a laboratory technician/supervisor in Moose Lake for six and a half years, Superior for two years and Sauk Center, Minn.. for one year. She had also been employed in physical therapy. She moved to Black River Falls in 1979 and was in charge of the laboratory at Krohn Clinic. She retired in 2008. She was a member of Family Worship Assembly of Black River Falls and Vine Street Chapel in Des Moines, Iowa. She enjoyed reading, sewing, knitting, crocheting, genealogy and taking care of others.
She was preceded in death by her parents Harry and Ellen Anderson and her aunt Laura Linnell. She is survived by her brother Barkley (Bonnie) Anderson of Edgar, Wis.; five nieces and nephews, Aaron, Christopher (Melissa), Amy, and Kathryn Anderson, and Kimberly (Brian) Stelzer; great niece Alexis Kate Stelzer; great nephew Scott James Anderson; and dear friend Judy Peterson of Black River Falls.
