Carol Ann Bakke, 64, Duluth died at St. Luke's Hospital. She was born in Duluth to Ernest and Eileen Swanson and was a graduate of Duluth Central High School. Carol had worked in the Physical Therapy Department at St. Luke's Hospital for 19 years and later spent 4 years with the Breast Cancer Awareness Program at the Duluth YWCA. She was a member of the Proctor Moose Lodge and enjoyed playing bingo, vacationing in Florida and watching classic movies.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents and brother Roger. She is survived by her children Gene (Roberta) Bakke, Crystal, MN, Sherri (John) Bonawitz, Duluth, Sandy (Donald) Brown, Naples, FLA, Jon (Terry) Bakke, Duluth and Mark Bakke and his son Rory, St. Paul, sisters Dianne Stone, Kay (Gene) Adamski, Peggy Swanson and Debbie (Steve) Sandstrom, all of Duluth, brother Randy (Janet) Swanson, Ramsey, MN; grandchildren Justin, Lauren, Joshua, Allyson, Kelsey, John, Jason, Byron, Tara, Brenna and Rory, great-grandchildren Christopher, Kaitlyn, Damian, Serenity and Dylan and many nieces, nephews and special friends.
