Information update: 02/20/2016

Claudia Marie Olson, 72, of Duluth, Minn. passed away at home on Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2016 under the care of her family. Claudia touched many lives throughout her life and will be deeply missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents Victor Aubrey and Virginia Marie (Bergquist) Olson, and sister Ginnylee Olson-Appel.

Claudia is survived by her life partner of 23 years, Shirley Ann Larson Oberg; brother Allan (Madeline) LeRoy Olson of Manzanita, Ore.; her kids Georgianna Marie (Grant) Gimpel-Ness and George Allan (Cindy) Olson, both of Twig, Minn.; and great-niece Brookie Marie Ness and great-nephews Cody Ness and Gavin Gimpel.
