50 years WOW! That went by in a flash. It seems like only a few years ago, standing in front of the Candy Bar watching cars & girls. After high school, I moved to Oklahoma to work for Western Electric. My heart was back in Duluth with the love of my life, so I came back after 6 months. I attended UMD for 2 1/2 years, worked a few odd jobs, then settled down to married life in 1966. My wife Rae and I have been married for 45 years and were blessed with 3 lovely daughters. Two daughters are married, one single and no grandchildren in sight yet.

I worked in Duluth for Minnesota Power for 35 years and retired in 2003. I feel fortunate to be able to have stayed in Duluth, worked, raised my family and enjoyed the 4 seasons. We are enjoying the "Golden Years" (whatever that means). I'm involved with some part-time jobs, fishing and old cars. My wife is working part time and doing some volunteering. I've been involved with helping the reunion committee this past year, and the experience of being reacquainted with many classmates after almost 50 years has been very rewarding for me. I hope to see a lot of you at our reunion this year.
