Elizabeth "Lizzy" Restad-Kirsh passed away peacefully Oct. 9 2014. She was born to Roland and Nell Restad Oct 21, 1942. She was a graduate of Duluth Central High School. She went on to marry her husband Lyle Kirsh in April 1962.

Two children and years later, together they started a family business the Sportsmen's Inn in Gnesen township where she lived her entire life. She enjoyed spending her time at "Sportys" which has been family owned and operated for 30 years. Lizzy loved all of her family and friends. She had many strengths and a beautiful smile along with her welcoming arms. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, always helping others before herself. She loved to play cribbage and spend time with her many friends. She also was the president of the Senior Citizens Club, She impacted so many lives in ways they will never forget. She will be very missed.

She is preceded in death by her husband Lyle Kirsh; parents Roland and Nell Restad; brother Butch Restad; and great- grandson Blake Allan Holappa.

She is survived by her daughter Cheryl (Rodney) Seeley; son Brian Kirsh; grandchildren Jamie (Waylon) Watters, Amanda (Kevin) Holappa Lindnsey Seeley, Chelsea Kirsh; great-grandchildren Brooke and Mariah; sister Janet Lee (Tim) Wold; and brother Donald (Linda) Restad.

Our Family would like to say a special Thank You to everyone at Fresenius Dialysis Unit at Miller Dawn for all the great service and friendship they provided over the years.

CELEBRATION OF LIFE: 2 p.m. Oct. 15, 2014 in Waters Of Life Church 6221 Rice Lake Rd in Duluth with a luncheon to follow.
