After graduation, I received a Bachelor's degree from UMD. While going to college I remained interested in technology working for the Duluth Schools A-V (audio-visual) Department. My experience there landed me a job as Media Coordinator at the Duluth Area Vocational-Technical School (now Lake Superior College).

I went on to receive my Masters degree and continued to work at LSC for 35 years. What I am most proud of was my role in the design and installation of Video Conference Centers throughout area high schools and 2-year colleges in NE Minnesota.

I was married it 1967, divorced in 1975 and had two children from that marriage. After trying to stay single for 5 years, I married and had two children with her.

On October 28, 2023 I married Patricia Fairbanks (from our class), we are not planning on any more kids.

Lived my whole life in Duluth/Hermantown, I guess I am mostly a homebody. Looking forward to wonderful life with my new wife and hope to travel some this spring.

As to interests, I enjoy working with wood or (most of the summer) you can find me in our gardens, taking care of our ponds and working in the yard.
