Fifty years! It seems like such a long time unless it refers to your life! Where did it go and what have I done?

After high school I went to college, married my high school sweetheart (Larry class of '60), had two sons, three grandsons, lived in Minneapolis for 23 years then moved to Scottsdale, AZ. Where we have been for 23 years!

What did I do in between? I taught elementary school. I also had my own event planning business for several years where I specialized in high school reunions. It eventually became too stressful so I sold it and went back to teaching. I now teach preschool. I have 4 year olds and absolutely love it. I have no intention of ever retiring!

In my free time I love to read, knit, walk and bake. Larry and our youngest grandson have become excellent consumers and experts of my baked goods!

Larry and I love to travel and have been very fortunate to visit much of the US including Alaska and Hawaii. We have been to several cites in Canada and Mexico. We have also been to over 30 cities in more than 25 foreign countries including Athens, Rome, Paris, London, Prague, Warsaw, Hong Kong, Jerusalem, Beijing, Cairo, Sydney, Christchurch and Budapest.

Last summer we spent five weeks at UMD in their Senior Summer Resident program and really enjoyed it. We will be back again this year. It was great coming back after being gone for so many years and seeing all the city has done.
