Information update 11/11/09

It's hard to imagine 50 years has passed since graduation. Guess I've been pretty busy as time just flies by. After graduation I went to work for Travelers Ins. Co. where I met my first husband. We married in 1962 and moved to Marquette, Michigan. While living there we had 3 children, John, Thomas & William. Later we transferred to Hibbing, had another child, came back to Duluth, transferred to Grand Rapids, MI, then on to Silver Bay where we spent 11 years without a move.

In 1987 my husband was killer in a skiing accident so I moved back to Duluth and went to work for Lester Park Florist and Greenhouses. I helped manage their three stores and enjoyed every minute of my job working with flowers (my third love) and being in such an atmosphere no matter what the weather was like. In 1992 I remarried, upon request of my spouse I had to retire so we could travel around the country in our motor home. You see our family grew, with my 4 children and his 5 we now have 9. That makes for a lot of grandchildren, 20 in all (so far).
