I got my GED; I then went to school to learn IBM Key Punch Operation. I worked at Oreck's for a short time as a "Key Punch Operator". I got married and had four children, was married for twenty years and then got divorced. I was a stay at home mom until my youngest was in school all day. I then got "talked into" going to work at the Lemon Drop, which I loved. It was my social life. I loved all the people I met there.

I remarried and have been married almost 28 years. I took classes and became an optician. I would work at Vista Optical until the store closed. I loved that job also. I worked at Younker's for several years, although I never had a paycheck, since I signed it every Friday and gave it back to them to cover my shopping! (;>) My husband and I travel every winter. My favorite place is Mazatlan, Mexico. I have 13 grandchildren whom I love so very much. I am blessed.
