Comments
Terry Charles Dinneen, 69, of Virginia, Elliott Lake and Duluth died at his home in Virginia with family by his side. He lived courageously with advanced prostate cancer.

He was born Feb 15, 1943 to Evelyn and Charles Dinneen who preceded him in death.

Terry served in the U.S Air Force Intelligence and was a graduate of UMD, with majors in psychology and sociology. He attended law school and graduate school. In college he worked as a D.O.T. draftsman and sold furniture for Goldfines By The Bridge. His other vocations included traveling commercial sales of floor coverings, vocational rehabilitation counseling, work as an entrepreneur refurbishing rental properties and real estate sales. He retired from the Duluth Transit Authority in 2005 as a dispatcher. He loved jazz and rock n roll, best played at full volume, often destroying woofers and tweeters.

He loved fishing, hunting, time at the cabin with family and friends, photography, junking, antiquing and bargain hunting.

He is survived by his soul mate and wife, Carolyn; brother Gregory (Adrienne) Dinneen; children, Kelly (Jasmin) Dinneen of Fairfield, Calif., and Meaghan Dinneen of Duluth; four grandchildren, Aiden, Isabella, Alyssa Dinneen and Archer Nylen; nieces Erin and Caitlin Dinneen, and extended families.

The family thanks St. Luke’s Physicians, St. Luke’s Cancer Center, and North Star Hospice of Hibbing for exemplary care and compassionate support.
