I find it amazing that 50 years has passed so quickly. In that time I have been married twice, have raised 3 great sons and acquired 4 stepchildren through my second marriage. We have 14 grandchildren ranging in age from 9 to 27 and one great grandchild who is 4. We have lived in Minnesota, Colorado, Wyoming, South Dakota and New Mexico. At this time, our home in Coon Rapids is for sale and the next stop for us will be Missouri.

I've had many different jobs through the years. One of my favorites was being the administrative assistant for the Heartland Symphony Orchestra in mid-Minnesota. For many years I enjoyed working as an activity coordinator in homes for people with dementia and Alzheimer's. This has been the most rewarding of all.

I have had many life experiences ranging from running two marathons (yes, Grandma's was one of them) to becoming a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner 3 years ago. And yes, I still play the flute! I have played in different groups and doing solo work in churches and community events. I currently play at the homes I work in and plan to continue in volunteer work.

I love to read, practice Yoga, knit and play my flute. I am always open to learning new things. My husband Bob and I plan to do more traveling around our great country and of course, we want to visit family and friends. My life has been mostly sunshine with some raindrops here and there; I thank the good Lord for it all.
