After graduation I worked for Snyder Drug in Duluth for about a year. After saving money I took a trip with my mother and older sister to Germany. We sailed over and flew back. It was a trip of a lifetime for me.

I moved to the cities with a girlfriend in 1963. While working at Snyder's in Minneapolis I met my husband, Robert. He is a pharmacist and we were married in April of 1964. We moved to Ottumwa, Iowa, the beginning of many moves as my husband also managed drug stores along with working in the pharmacy.

We have two children, a son and a daughter who have been the delight of our lives. I was a stay at home mom when my kids were young. As they got older I worked at Christopher and Banks in their accounting department and retired 2 1/2 years ago.

We have three grandsons who we are fortunate to see often and take camping with us. We like to camp at state parks, canoe and bike and do a little traveling.

I get back to Duluth often as I have an older brother in a nursing home in Duluth.
