It has been an exciting life with many ups and downs, but being a positive person I try to dwell on positive things. When I left school I married Frank Arveson from our class. During our marriage we had 3 children but, life as I knew it, seemed to come to a sudden end when Frank was killed at 23. If not for me, for the children, I decided I had to pick up the pieces I had left of my life, and move on. In the years to come, I then met and eventually married Bruce Hillman, but I lost my son to leukemia at age of 13. After 20 years of marriage, it ended when Bruce traded me in for younger model.

It was again time to move on. I worked various places and especially enjoyed working at Orchard's (on London Road) for 13 years. There, it felt like I waited on half of our class as the years passed. It was great to be able to stay in touch with so many of you. While camping one year I met Larry (also a younger model) and he and I have been going together for over 20 years now.

We (together and separately) have traveled a lot to various places including Hawaii and the Dominican Republic. We have taken our grandkids to Disney World 11 times with our camper. I love to travel in my motor home but don't like the traffic. I very much enjoy having friends over to swim and play. I still work at Blackwood's, however I get June, July and August off and go back to work each September. Life has been good, but I could be happier if I won the lottery, however, they tell me you have to buy a ticket. Looking forward to seeing all of you again.
