After I graduated, I married my high school sweetheart and moved to Minneapolis for two years. From there we moved to Plymouth, MI, where Chuck went to school and was in sales for his brother's insulation company. In 1971 we decided to move back to Duluth with our two children to be closer to family. After five fun years in Duluth, we decided to head for warmer weather and moved to Phoenix, AZ, which we all immediately loved!

Other than the births of my children, 1984 was the best year of my life! Ronda blessed us with my first grandchild, I went to work for the U. S. Treasury Dept., and I bought my first home, by myself, bought a new car and took my first trip to Europe! Chuck and I also sold our home that year and went our separate ways (After 23 years!) Go figure!

After working for the Treasury Dept., I had the opportunity to go to work at Caesar's Palace as a Corporate Investigator, so I packed up and moved to Las Vegas for nine years. I retired early, due to some health problems. I am 12 years cancer free and feel very fortunate! Chuck and I have remained friends and are currently housemates, along with my mother, who moved in with us in 2006, when my father passed away.

Although I have no claim to fame, I feel that I have lived a fulfilling and happy life. I helped raise two wonderful children and have three adorable grandchildren. I love to travel and have taken many fabulous trips and cruises during my lifetime and am planning a few more trips to Europe, as my daughter, her husband, and my grandson and his wife are all stationed in Germany, with the U.S. Army. Life is good! My regrets are few! I am blessed!
