After graduation, I began working for the Welfare Dept. (now Social Services) in the same office as Julee Rulmyr! I also worked part time in the Community Ed. Dept. of ISD #709 after my kids were in school.

In Sept. 1962, I married Chet Radzak, a l959 Cathedral grad, who I had dated for 2 yrs. He happened to be a neighbor of Ken Sorensen! We bought a house in Chester Pk., which was next door to Dick Loraas & across the street from Hunter Anderson! In l966, we built a new home in Kenwood & in l974 built a cabin in Wisconsin.

Our oldest daughter, Mary Chris, is a teacher in Duluth & her husband, Mark teaches in Hermantown. They have 21 yr. old twins. Their son, Jon is a student at St. John's University who is an accountant intern at Ernst & Young in Mpls. this summer. His twin sister, Sarah is finishing up her education at St. Scholastica so she can follow her new husband, who just graduated from law school as he goes into the Air Force JAG program.

Our other daughter, Jeannie is also a teacher in Hermantown & her husband, Tom has an insurance agency. Their daughters, Emily & Molly, are our 2 youngest grandkids at ll & l4 yrs. old. We love being with them as they go through their school & athletic activities.

Our son, Joe is a CPA who is the Chief Financial Officer at a large company in S.D. His wife, Angela is also ...........a teacher! Their daughter, Emma, is a nursing student at Winona State & their son, Ryan, is a l6 yr. old 6'3" football player!

Chet retired in l999 as maintenance director of the Housing & Redevelopment Authority. We began remodeling & adding onto our cabin to make room for all of "our teachers" & grandkids who have the summers off! We sold our home & moved to WI in 2003.

We've traveled to Hawaii & Ixtapa, Mexico. We loved them both but now enjoy wintering in Sarasota, FL.

Life has been very busy over the past 50 yrs & it has been rewarding raising 3 kids & watching their families grow. I enjoyed being active in PTA throughout the years & was even president of Central's PTA during the years my girls were there. We all have great memories of Central! Hurrah for the Red & White!
